Specimen Vials

Picture
This project is about collecting and/or reverse bioengineering specimens taken from my artwork.

The smallest vials represent extrapolations of the most basic forms of the materials I'm using.  Once I have isolated these basic building blocks I utilize them in the creation of larger organisms.  With each increasing vial or jar size the complexity of the organism within it increases as well.

As my collection of specimens grows I record data tracking the material and color choices I am making as a way to better understand recurring formal choices in my work.
