My original dollhouse piece used the dollhouse that my dad made for me when I was five years old and integrated it into the larger series, as sculpted plants take over the abandoned structure. I created it for my solo exhibition, Heather Beardsley: Strange Plants, at the Chrysler Museum of Art, and it was on display there from June 29- October 29, 2023.

Since then I have continued to collaborate with my dad on this project, he builds the dollhouses from vintage, second-hand kits and I cover them with sculpted plants.
